"Wytchthorn" by Ravenwood Fine Provisions
Wytchthorn is unchanged for 2026, a rich crossover English blend; a melange of virginias, burley, toasted cavendish and a touch of latakia. A fragrant blend perfect for the chilly autumn months, expect notes of sherried spices, toffee, spirits, smoke and a hint of cedar. Holds the ember well too!
In the largest Aspen forest in Colorado near Crested Butte, there is a tale of a woman that lives in a natural cave deep in the center of the woods. No one really goes that far into those woods, at least not often after some backpackers came back from trip, speaking of things they couldn’t explain. Like seeing an etheral black cloaked figure with a pointy hat, that moved silently through the woods without touching the ground…

I'm generally wary of "Crossover English" blends, but despite my aversion to aromatics I must admit that I like this well balanced blend. Sweet but not too much. Medium body. There's not much English in here, but that may be a good thing. Probably a good room note. My one note is that it comes to you very moist and does need substantial drying time. But overall I'd give this one high marks as a change of pace choice.
Fantastic blend. I ordered a tin and shared it with my friends who loved it as well. It is a very good blend. It is a very well balanced blend. I also got some samples of other blends which were great as well. Only regret was only ordering one tin instead of two!
Wonderful Blend, very tasteful and great room note, extremely mild on the tongue, really a great crossover English, higly recommend this one, thanks James for your magic.
This blend should have fresh faced aromatic fans and old stodgy english heads dancing in the streets together as it combines 2 worlds together. Fantastic blend!
