"Hobbit's Leaf" cherry / vanilla aromatic 50g tin (think Cheerwine cherry, not cough syrup!)
My take on the old classic! Lets face it, at one time or another we all wish we were sitting barefoot at the bast of a tree, in the cool grass, puffing away and watching the clouds go by. Using the now discontinued Lane Limited Dark Red which has a deeper cherry note with a touch of chocolate as opposed to the traditional "cough syrup" cherry taste. I add a few other components to create this classic mixture. Light velvety cherry, mellow vanilla, and a hint of cocoa with a sweet room note.

Wonderful room notes, an enjoyable smoke, and well-blended Cherry, Vanilla, and Cocoa that merge well together; no one flavor overpowers another. Definitely my new go-to blend!!
Hobbits leaf has become my all time favorite blend, I love the deep rich cherry, it is definitely the most forward flavor but the chocolatey cocoa note is very noticeable as well. I have smoked this out of a few different pipes and I've noticed that the most prominent flavor depends largely on which pipe I smoke it out of. My favorite choice is my long churchwarden which I think is the perfect pipe to accompany this tobacco and the cherry flavor is super strong and delicious out of it!
I have tried to diversify my collection, but Ravenwood Blends seem to be taking over. Hobbit's Leaf is the newest addition. The tin note immediately hooked me. Smelled amazing and fresh. The smoke was smooth, cool and pleasant. No bite and well balanced. This could be an all day smoke for me.
