"SommersEnde" virginia / perique blend 50g tin
When summer came to a close last year I created a blend to celebrate this change in season. SommersEnde is simple but straightforward virginia / perique mixture. I’ve taken bright, medium brown, and mahogany virginias, ribbon cut. I then add a generous portion of some really special and flavorful figgy perique. You won’t find any spice or black pepper here, this perique is mellow, with flavors of stone fruit, figs of course, and dried prunes. Great now, but I have no doubt this blend of leaf will age very well as everything melds together. For 2025 I went even heavier on the perique, giving this years mix a fuller flavor .
Expect notes of cedar, hay, and grass, as well as dried stone fruit and fig as mentioned above. A light, flavorful and easy straightforward vaper for the change in seasons.

The name is perfect for this blend. The tin note and the taste is the embodiment of that transition period between summer and fall. The taste is of freshly baled hay on a cool September evening and that of a cord of red oak cut and split, drying on the front porch for Novembers chill. Even more I cannot yet describe. A very homey blend indeed.
New to reviewing tobacco but I cannot put this one down since I opened the tin a couple hours ago. Simple blend that gives you a bold taste. I placed another order before it is all gone.
This blend is very aptly named! This is a perfect smoke for a cool late summer or early fall afternoon. The notes of hay and cedar are delightful mixed with the smell of fresh cut grass after I mow.
This blend is amazing for spring and summer alike. Hay notes, with a gentle spice, hints of rose on the retrohale, and zesty lemon from the Virginias. Please, don't let this be the end of sommer!
