Tobacco Tin Information

You are purchasing secondhand collectible tins. The exterior of each tin is inspected before being offered for sale. Some tins are 5-50 years old and rust can occur inside tins and seals may break during shipping. Please consider this when buying tins. TBF is not responsible for the viability of the contents inside.

You must be 21 years of age to make purchases from this site, by doing so, you are confirming you are of legal age to purchase these products and accessories. Any order believed to be made by a minor will be canceled.

Estate Briar

Most of the briar offered for sale have been smoked previously. Pipes have been cleaned and sanitized prior to being offered for sale, but like ALL estate pipes, some minor ghosting may be present.  Any MAJOR issues with regards to ghosting, handling marks, dings, or cracks will be noted as each and every pipe is inspected prior to being offered on the website. By purchasing a pipe you are agreeing that the pipe has been used previously if noted.

Shipping Policy

We plan on listing new items here and there so there will be times when someone might want to order just one item, for that we have an option for the new "ground advantage" rate of $4.95 shipping for one or a few items. FREE SHIPPING over $125.

INTERNATIONAL shipping is available, but arrangements will be made after items have been purchased. We will need to get the buyers address and weigh the package to determine cost options. We will DO everything I can to make international shipping easy and without delays in customs etc. TBF and the buyer can work that out.

Return & Exchange Policy

Returns for tins are generally not accepted, however if a buyer has a valid reason why they think a return should be made, The Briar Fellowship is open to hearing them out. We are pipe smokers ourselves of course and only want the most pleasant shopping experience for our brothers and sisters!

Consignment

A word about consignment  ~ To determine vintage tins prices, The Briar Fellowship works with the consignor and takes into consideration personal knowledge, other estate tin website and auction websites to price tins. The Briar Fellowship will never allow consignors to price tins at exorbitant prices seen on some other (one in particular) consignment websites. We try to strike a balance between getting a fair price for consignors while keeping prices competitive.

Use of Third Parties

We never sell, exchange, or share your personal information with any third party unless it is necessary to fulfill your order.
