"Gates of Argonath" a bold oriental balkan mixture. 50g sealed tin
Expect tasting notes of woodsy orientals, dark bread and musty earth. Some might find some notes of gingerbread and natural sweetness as well. But make not mistake this is a full bodied english balkan.
I initially made this blend purely for myself as I do here and there, but some pipesolk expressed interest, and the initial small release was very well recieved! This is very heavy balkan blend with LOTS of orientals and a solid amount of latakia, and some virginia.

There are many Oriental blends out there, some of which are among my favorites. Gates of Argonath stands toe to toe with the best of them. Described as “heavy,” I’d call it rich and powerful, but masterfully balanced.
Blenders today, we hear, are working with a compromised leaf selection. I don’t know if that’s true, but this blend shows what can be done when a master blender makes good use of the best of what’s available.
My only complaint is that it is sold out!
