Another one we all took for granted was Mac Barens fantastic Vanilla Roll Cake. Really tasty sliced vanilla coins that also had a balance portion of virginia and burley. I've taken what I believe to be near match of the Madagascar vanilla extract Mac Baren used in the rolls and misted it over a blend of ribboned burley, brown virginia, cavendish, and finally crumbled burley.
The result is what I feel to be a very close approximation to Vanilla Roll Cake. Nutty sweet bread notes, with a bit of hay like citrus and lightly applied vanilla, with a flavor that lasts, and leaf that holds the ember well.
