"Green Mill" 30th Anniversary blend for the Chicagoland Pipe Show, by Ravenwood Fine Provisions
 
This is a very special mix created specifically to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Chicagoland Pipe Show! The Green Mill Jazz Lounge is a very famous club in Chicago that has been in operation for decades. 
 
Inside the tin you'll find a superb two fold mixture of virginias, 50/50 of each. A lemon, bright, and mahogany virginia / perique flake (another collab with Sutliff prior to closing) tinned up next to a bevy of red ribbons, all of which have aged nearly two years. With the vaper flake, expect a light tart lemon and citrus taste, with notes of sweet dark fruit and warm bread. With the red ribbons you get warm tang, vinegar, and some hints of sugary ripe fruit.
I prefer a straight 50/50 mix of both, but you choose how much of each to fill your briar; just like Jazz music, it can be warm, lively, or relaxing...
