“The Idol” is a blend of golden lemon virginias from North Carolina, burley, toasted cavendish, and a light and gently sweet honey essence.
It’s 1937; a year after Dr. Indiana Jones discovered the Arc of the Covenant, and a year before he was contacted by Walter Donovan to help locate his missing father and subsequently, the Holy Grail.
After initially retrieving the Golden Chachapoyan Fertility idol, Dr. Jones surrendered it to Rene Belloq outside the jungle shrine in Peru. Sold in Marrakech by Belloq shortly after, Jones was there to retrieve it once again from the shop owner who purchased it. Back in New York, Ilsa Toht and members of the modern Hovitos tribe once again took The Idol from Marcus Brody; fleeing to the jungles of Brazil just over the Peruvian border. Using guides who had contacts that had seen Ilsa, Jones searched the jungle east of Cruziero Do Sul and several old pyramids. Using a cave as makeshift base camp they finally came upon a large temple with a torch lit just inside. After a full day navigating deep inside the ruins, dodging snakes, booby traps, and Hovito Guards, it was there that Indiana Jones reclaimed The Golden Idol once and for all.
