REVIEWS for The Briar Fellowship and Ravenwood Fine Provisions

I love tobacco & The Briar Fellowship, I have been a customer for a couple of years. I just cant find anything bad to say about The Briar Fellowship or James who runs it and makes his own unique and tasty small batch blends. If you are into the hobby of pipes and tobacco, this is an awesome place to find some great stuff. I just ordered my first three Ravenwood blends. I heard James get interviewed on the pipe magazine radio show. After hearing James passion for blending tobacco, I just had to give it a try. So far I have enjoyed hobbit leaf and Leaves of Athelas. Incredible tasty and interesting flavors in his tobacco blends. I am looking forward to cracking open his 11th day of Christmas blend on Christmas Eve. So thankful for your tobacconist skills! Looking forward to trying more blends!

In a time where you have to pay more to get less, its nice to see that someone is worth their weight in gold. I can say without a doubt that this man can't miss. Every blend whether I liked it or not was quality. You can taste the quality. The attention to detail thats put into the blending of these tobaccos is evident in the look, feel and smoke. Also, lets not forget the tin art. My lord. The tin art is the best around and could be sold on its own.

Over the last couple of years I've sampled many of Ravenwood Blends and each time I do, I am more than pleased with them. These blends are well thought out and crafted with care. By far my favorites have been Leaves of Athelas, Gates of Argonath & Nepenthe! I absolutely love supporting small batch blenders especially when they put out great tobaccos, like the Ravenwood Blends! Keep up the great work and Keep it Smokey!

I have tried several Ravenwood blends by now, and I cannot say anything bad about a single one of them. They are smooth, cool, easy to smoke and very flavorful. They are a breath of fresh air in the tobacco world. These are the blends I have been wishing and hunting for over the years and not finding anywhere else. It’s not too forward to say, they have replaced the hole that McClelland left when they closed shop. Please keep up the good work. You have a gift for blending!
